PEYSSA

Parque Eólico Yauyupe San Lucas S.A.

Under study since 2011, it is currently in final stages of development. It will be the third wind farm running and connected to the national grid in Honduras.

Yauyupe – San Lucas

Located at 90 km from Tegucigalpa in the extreme southwest of the Department of El Paraiso between the municipalities of Yauyupe and San Lucas. The surrounding communities are Yauyupe, Navijupe, Junacatal and San Lucas. The area is rural, suitable for forestry with mountainous topography, typical of the interior.

Sustainable Development

PEYSSA is committed to sustainable development of the different communities where the project will be installed, which have signed cooperation agreements in issues of great importance such as health, infrastructure, education and food with the various boards and communities involved.

PEGSA

Parque Eólico Güinope

Currently in development, the Güinope Windfarm is located in the departments of El Paraíso and Francisco Morazán in the municipalities of Güinope and Maraita respectively, about 60 kilometers south-east of Tegucigalpa.

Güinope

Güinope is a town in the department of El Paraiso, in the Republic of Honduras. According to the official census of 2013, it has a population of 8,794 inhabitants (estimated 2015). The Güinope place name is of Mexican origin and means “In the water of the pigeons”.
